Cleveland Sales Company was established in 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio U.S.A. for the purpose of selling electric motor accessories arbors. As the company grew and expanded, its manufacturing operations and products were separated. A new group, "CLESCO" was formed as the manufacturer, while the original Cleveland Sales Company continued to grow as a wholesaler and sales representative. This was the start of CLESCO Manufacturing. Clesco moved its main plant and headquarters from Cleveland to its current location in suburban Willoughby in 1968. We have continued to grow and expand our products and services which can now be grouped into three main categories:
Clesco's line of Mechanical Power Transmission Products are available under its own PT COMPONENTS brand and private label. Products include: Shaft Collars, Ball Bearing Units, Bronze Bearing Units, UHM W-PE Plastic Bearing Units, Rigid Shaft Couplings, Flexible Shaft Couplings, Bronze Sleeve Bearings, Steel Reducer Bushings, Spacers, Pulleys, Bench Mandrels, Bushing & Bearing Tools and a variety of electric motor accessories such as Motor Shaft Arbors, Motor Shaft Adapters, Motor Shaft Extension Kits and Motor Shaft Bushings. Clesco's line of Tool and Abrasive Accessories are available under Clesco's own brand and private label. Products include: a wide variety of Mandrels (for holding cut-off wheels, cartridge rolls, wire brushes, pads, cloth buffs, discs, non-woven abrasives, flap wheels, cone points and more) Drill Chuck Arbors, Motor Shaft Arbors, Keyless Chucks, Sanding Drums, Grinding Adapters, Sanding Discs, Sanding Disc Holders, Pad Nuts, Abrasive Cleaners, Reducer Bushings, Reducing Adapters, Tapered Buffing Spindles, Drill Stop Collars, Dowel Centers and Tenon Centers. Clesco also manufactures custom screw-machined or CNC parts (metal or plastic) and assemblies (kits, tools, sub-units, etc.) to your specifications. A complete secondary machine operations department is also available for drilling, tapping, crimping, broaching, etc. A variety of special services is also available to meet specific customer requirements such as custom packaging (polybags, boxes, skin or blister packs, header cards, etc.), private labeling, bar coding, multi-lingual print and graphics, technical support, design assistance, electronic data interchange (EDI), blanket orders, exporting and just-in-time delivery programs (JIT).
